Memo.

A Poem by InsideOut.
"

You'd think in your senior year of high school, friends would want to spend as much time as they can together before time runs out (without suffocating each other of course). But with my friends, this is just not the case. I don't have your average friend

"

None of you are there. Ever.
Nor do you even try to be.

It’s sad.
But no, let’s all walk around and pretend we’re best friends.
No one will notice things have changed.

I don’t think so.
I don’t want this anymore.
There’s nothing wrong with growing up.
But no one said you had to change who you are.

I hoped you never would.
I hoped it would all turn out better than this.
But that’s life.
That’s just the way it is.
