Forever Goodbye.

Forever Goodbye.

A Poem by InsideOut.
"

I've been feeling...well, pretty damn s****y lately. Writing is something I'm really passionate about. Honestly and full heartedly. But I've been so stuck lately. I feel like anything I write, cannot measure up. Blah. I tried.

"

Welcome back to what you never asked for.
To the place furthest from your mind; your heart.
Step back and take a glimpse of what you've created for yourself.
Nothing more than an lonely room filled with momentums of your past.
A time when even the most complicated things made sense.
A time you felt you belonged here.

But it's too late now.
Sorry hun, but we can't change the future for you.
Your book has been written and live it out you must.
For no one's here to take your place.
And those who have once helped are long gone.

Silly girl, you shouldn't pick at old scars; they're a permanent reminder on your soul now.
Although I could allow them to disappear, I chose not to.
For I'd like you to reminisce about "those" times often.
I don't want you to forget.
So tighter the chain becomes.
Pay no attention and turn the other way.

And please dear, don't look at me with those dark, lost eyes.
I see right through that pain.
Your desires are furthest from my mind.
And I laugh at your disastrous attempts to make things right again.
If you haven't learned by now, there's truly no hope for you little one.
But no worries, I'll let you bask in your own sorrow.
Did you honestly believe anyone would care?
Hope has gotten the best of you again.

Your life is to remain in darkness.
Surrounded by immense, static figures and enclosed walls.
Abandoned by everyone you've ever crossed paths with.
So put on that fake smile little one.
Brush your hair forward and hide your dazed eyes.
This is now.
This is forever.
A forever goodbye.
