Things pass.

    Drifting-
     one cloud-
     wind riding-
     finds-
     the light-

    Hungrily-
     casts first-
     a dark shadow-
     draining down-
     the warmth-

    Darkens-
     consumes-
   starves-
     separates-
     chills you-

     Becomes

    Haloed-
   sainted-
     fire edged-
     by the bending-
     seeking Sun-
     that knows-
     you await-

    Departs-
     defeated-
   one cloud-
     dark again-
   slinking away-
   shadow in tow-
