No ColorA Poem by Chadvonswan
A leaf falls far
from the tree The splotched scars Of time sail south The grass consumes A collection is gathered Of spawns And leaves the sun Winks At dawn The leaves whisper Silent secrets That scratch upon the Wind like little Ghosts To tap on your window As you sleep In your head And fall Like a leaf Into another plane Of waxed Existence Waning and blinking In the sky Teasing Spitting Lies around like seeds And dreaming of things left forgotten In the morning I wake To find a million leaves Piled around me Spawned upon my bed spilled Out of the mouth Of the open window © 2014 ChadvonswanAuthor's Note
