Her Endless LureA Poem by Chadvonswan...
The waves sway under the wind
My hopes swim away in haste Violent questions Frigid on my tongue Of what and who and when? I think I know it's gonna be her Positively I am sure of her coming sin Floating in her broken boat, Fishing with her endless lure She caught me, reeled me in Dropped me in the stained bucket Of thousands before me And a thousand more after Her hands are slippery As she studies my shining flaws I might just escape Back into the splashing void Her gripping eyes hold Her lust squeezes too tight And she drops me back in An intentional toss into The black surface of my past The peak of the bottom Where the air swims in haste Where her sinking words lie Floating down in the bubble Bursting under pressure Succumbing under false force When her fixed words float away I won't have to hear what she says But she'll find me again I can already almost taste her desire Searching blindly for my surrender And if her hook tears my throat out At least I'll be able to take a drink Of my breath free and undisturbed © 2014 ChadvonswanReviews
