The masses

The masses

A Poem by Chadius Maximus

The water…crystal clear

Becoming dirty…murky

Stagnant

Like a dream of long ago

Golden fringe follows it through

The dark passageways of our minds eye

Illuminating small doses of frightfulness

Vampires bleeding battery acid

Mother-child weeping tears of forbidden abandon

Dreading the morning light

Sunlight fire burns down through the clouds

Raining destruction to the demon child

The dark quite night is deafening

Shapes bleeding into each other in the darkness

Becoming one

One mass bent on destruction

One mass bending our will

Our fortitude drowns in the water

Our vises, our downfall

Our viruses, their new war

I wont worry about you

Don’t you worry about me

I’ll become the hero

Antihero

I’ll ride the destruction down

Meet with your God at the end

And show him where he went wrong

Showing him the passages of his damnation

Celebrate, the time is now
