Trapped

Trapped

A Poem by Chadius Maximus
"

I don't like describing things here, it's a poem, you describe it to me.

"

Scorpions crawling in my bed

Panic stricken, dumbfounded

Blinded by all this

The bugs are scratching at my eyes

Trying to claw their way into my soul

Eyelids shut so tight

Cant see the light

Centipedes crawling in my ears

Panic stricken, dumbfounded

Deafened by all this

The bugs are worming through my brain

Trying to slime their way into my mind

Hands tight over ears

Cant hear the train wreck coming at me

Spiders crawling in my mouth

Panic stricken, dumbfounded

Speechless by all this

The bugs are dancing on my tongue

Putting poison to my words

Teeth and lips together so tight

Cant tell you I’m in pain

Cant ask for help now

I’m slipping away now

Sinking… stinking…

bloated… molded

Decaying away to the emptiness inside

This poem actually seems to describe how I feel when I have a night tremor. I like the use of metaphors.
