Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Tenten

I’m waiting for the beauty of life to kick in

Dancing in the illumination of moonlight

As she floods the world

In the pureness of existence

I fear no shadow as these feet

In broken sandals covered in the grime of life

Dance down the dirty roads of less appealing walks

she is my candle light in unknown halls

the treasure, the reason, the smile

found in seven minutes of heaven

glinting off the metal of rail road hikes

she'll spin it, playing down the beat

the awkward movements steppin’ into

the flow, smoother than the ice of winters’ lakes

Turning the world into the

Feared stage the shy dare not to approach

Every lonely moment

Turned into the book hands have yet to create

The picture a painter has yet to dream

The music she streams into

Unyielding heads in night times shine

Breaking through closed curtains and open windows

Flowing smooth into the essence
