While they'll misconstrue it as

Lust in an affection I hold for thee

Imagining kisses as we share the sheets

On the moment I can see you

I say 'I love you' and I mean it

You won't take these words for granted

Understanding the pieces of you in me

These pieces of me in you

Extending past dreams and paper and pen

To smiles and hated saying of 'I'll see you soon'
