Latin Stubborness

Latin Stubborness

A Poem by Tenten

Stubborn enough

I can do this on my own

Raised on Family and Blood

Taking cautionary steps in strangers eyes

Looking smooth as ice

Testing waters in new faces, alternate places

Is the ground stable?

Holding your tongue

Never asking questions

In the matriarchal family becomes

‘Help’ is the word for the dying

Too damn stubborn

This is WONDERFUL... bravo!... STUBBORNACITY.... no, it's not just for the Irish; and yes, I just made that word up. My favorite line is "Testing waters in new faces, alternate places"... excellent line. One line I'm not sure I understand is "in the matriarchal family becomes"... I am intrigued by this line, but not quite sure I understand it. No matter, this is a wonderful piece that moves along very nicely. Great job!
