People of Circumstance

People of Circumstance

A Poem by Tenten

You recognize faces

And the names come

In a minute after step

Forcing memory to recall

Half a*s introductions

In years gone by

People of circumstance meetings

I love the fuzziness of it all... it's altogether blurry... very effective, "Forcing memory to recall
Half a*s introductions". On a constructive note, while I very much like the feel of this poem, something happens between the next to last and last lines... not quite sure what it is; it feels as if a small piece is missing, like you may be able to tighten it up just a wee bit... a small tweak, maybe add a few words to tie the lines together. Not sure if that makes sense to you; if so, give it a tweak... if not, just discard it - the important thing is that you released the vision. Enjoyed this very much; thanks for sharing!
