Window Box Dreams

Window Box Dreams

A Poem by Tenten

I have a dream
Of arguing in public
She wants me to say
She's the best lover, my forever
Of roses in window boxes
And herbs growing inside, consuming
Of our crummy flat that's
Too hot, too high with cracking walls
In a city I despise
Just as much as she adores
But the architecture captivates
On those rare silent nights
I have a dream of happiness
In a method, manner, way
A path I never considered
Before it goes
And the indulgence is through
