She's On the Door Step

She's On the Door Step

A Poem by Tenten

If she came today
A smile and all her junk
Glittering behind her
What would you say?

Turn her away
Lead her to the garage
The unused space

Keeping to that
Out of sight out of mind
Mantra that's become

The reasoning to children
Born from a man
No longer by your side

Would you turn her away?
Tell he to go home
Knowing a new number
Would ruin the calculating

Dubbed rhythm with this
Disgusting man
And
Your everyday forced smile
