Censor

Censor

A Poem by Tenten

We censor ourselves with
No, no my friends will read this
People learning of me will know
Sin, lust, greedy, gluttony
Shame, wrath, pride, sloth
The unending envy
We stop the lines
A minute to breach
Wondering if thoughts will change
On the person we are
We shall become
The truest part of our nature
The moments tick by
The day’s move slow
The years birth new faces
Old souls linger in memory
Distant phone calls
Tick tock we realize the censorship
Un-needed in creation moments
There is no wrong in
Our truth, beauty, freedom, love
Belief, desire it all adds up
To the honesty of self
We feared in mirror reflections
