Summer Rain Storms

Summer Rain Storms

A Poem by Tenten

Summer Rain Storms
Pieces of Hail
The Scent of Ozone
Covering the cigarette stains
Turning the world
Into a dangerous play ground
Threatening to wash away
Everything in the rivers reach

Summer Rain Storms
Beating water droplets
The smell of wet earth
Covering the sky in purple clouds
Dangerous royal colors
Pulling the world to mystery view

Summer Rain Storms
Pieces of raw beauty
The Scent of running freedom
Covering my soul in momentary happiness
Turning the mind
To brighter days of dangerous play
Threatening to lead these feet
Beyond rail road promises
Calming a blinded soul

Gracious Summer Rain Storms
