Rainy Days in a Place

Rainy Days in a Place

A Poem by Tenten

Rainy days
can you feel the breath
is it easier to breathe?
I wonder what it’s like
on days like these

in places like
Chicago
St. Louis
that little place in Washington
I wonder how the method flows
is there smog or the scent of pine
what flavor does the air hold
in Maine
Georgia

that place just outside reality
Cool droplets soaking the world
In that cold shower feel
do you still play in the mud
dance it her offerings of life

Rainy days...
is it easier to breathe
on these forever purple skies
droplet pouring night and days
