No Mask Moment

No Mask Moment

A Poem by Tenten

As my mind sobers up
As reality bleeds back into sight
I get to remember
Where I am
Who I'm with
What they all expect
I can't be cruel
I can't be selfish
I can't be the little pill popper
I can't be the mini pot head
I got to smile I gotta be....
Everything they expect
Because this is who I created
A half true image
They can fall in love with
But I just can't be me
Until another bed
Another bowl
Another feat of honesty
