Rain Dance

Rain Dance

A Poem by Tenten

Will you watch me
As my body moves in rainstorms
Hands raised to deities
You do not love as I do
Praising them for cold showers
Outside of walls and convention
Will you watch me
As cloth plaster to my form
Strands of my hair
Plastered to my face
Lenses already covered in droplets
Will you watch this dance
In summer rain storms
Falling in love with purple skies
Thunder sounds shaking the world
Hands held in prayers to deities
Thanking them for this moment
