Fickle Loves

Fickle Loves

A Poem by Tenten

You'll have to understand
She gets bored rather easily
She needs new toys quite often
Oh me..?
I've been with her for four years
Yes, that long
Just friends, nothing more would work
We couldn't be that way
What's wrong with you...nothing
But if you must know truth
For her, you're too weak
You are too frail and needy
You aren't strong enough
In body and presence
In pure power and strength
To keep her entertained for too long
You can't own her, not in the right ways
Oh, how'd I last
... she owns me, I am hers faithfully
You'll have to understand past the pain
My words for you
Are: please don't die, stay safe and take care
We all walk our way through broken hearts
