Alone

Alone

A Poem by Tenten

Alone
It's becoming a common friend
Because those faces
Are gone from this place
Because the noise outside
Sends shivers down my spine
Because there are people
Who would hurt anyone weak
   Alone
It's something I'm getting used to
In front of a computer screen
Starring into empty space
Hating sobriety, unbiased movement
But she's always here, the only sound
Empty silence so I take her kiss
Alone
