World Reflected

World Reflected

A Poem by Tenten

eyes to the ground
keep your head bowed
i see the world reflected
in broken cement steps
dying grass
opened day flowers
the blossoming night breed
a tossed out used condom
and cigarette buds
in this mess
eyes to the ground
beauty can become confused
with the bitter sweetness
of reality's taste
