It's A Shame

It's A Shame

A Poem by Tenten

It seems a shame
      a night like this
spent alone
The scent of pine and aspen
swaying in the air
      freely
In the sky stars shine
      storm clouds passing
on the right lightening fly’s
Colors and gun powder
      echo down the street
birth of light in the storms trailing path
Seems a shame
      to spend such a night
alone on play ground steps
