I Need

I Need

A Poem by Tenten

I need rhythm & blues
I need jazz tunes
Hot summer nights
Smoke filled rooms
The window closed
I need your guitar strings
I need her echoing voice
My soul torn out
With her soulful song
I need your voice
Speaking the latest masterpiece
Saying the now version of truth
Breathing new life into
Those rhythm & blues
Long ago jazz tunes
I need you...
