Rain Dances

Rain Dances

A Poem by Tenten
"

something created from a fond memory

"

Because it's hot
And the AC's broken
We're young and no ones watching
Over the age of puberty
Lets Dance outside
Beg the gods a gift
Let the goddess hear our song
On this celebration day
Of another year survived
For rain and water
Pulling to the ground
Over our bodies
At our bare feet
....
        ....
                    ....
'You know the ancients did it nude'
The neighbor is listening
Laugh it's all a good time
