She Says

She Says

A Poem by Tenten

She says
'Lets jump on the next one'
Waiting for a passenger cart
To move by
The escape, ours
From this town, this place
That consumes you
      'Lets forget our sins'
She says we'll start anew
Names, pasts, smile
They wont know the lies
She says
'Lets jump on the next one'
The squeal of breaks
Ringing painfully in my ears
