Headphones

Headphones

A Poem by Tenten

I don't wanna be lonely
So I'm hooking in these headphones
Turning up the music loud
And pretending like a child
That this house isn't empty

It's flooded with love and smiles
With voices and people
Playing in an existence
That shows a true happiness
Cause I don't want to be alone

I'm looking at the screen
For answers to create a smile
Even just a seconds long one
That'll last in memory

So it won't be just me
In just this house
