Padlock

Padlock

A Poem by Tenten

She padlocks her bedroom door
Hides the remote away
Talks about changing the locks
Turns my room to storage
Then asks every afternoon
'When are you leaving'
Expecting me gone for a long while
She padlocks her bedroom door
Complains I never come 'home'
Counting the hours days months till I leave
