Sun to Kiss

Sun to Kiss

A Poem by Tenten

The sun is ending her course
As the crickets begin to sing
Playing a symphony once known
To more than small towns
And country farms
Star light reaches tired eyes
Sparkles of diamond
Never captured by necklaces and rings
Glistening in the ever changing
Background of blue quilts
To black and purple silks
A blessed night sky
Offer quite refuge from
Chaotic reality of every day strife
The sun has set
Leaving orbs to gaze into
The beauty of nights kiss
