lonely grows

lonely grows

A Poem by Tenten

it's only been a few days
but if I let it go on
these will become empty days
spent lonely...alone
without another’s voice
the wind blows
the sun shines
the earth smell's of rain
and it will be spent
trapped in a room
with a box of cigarettes
and endless glasses of tea
wondering where did my time go
before running in late night rain storms
down abandoned roads
and river bridges
in less reputable parts of town
so I’ll talk to you later
before I let this alone
become the lonely
