Spanish tongue

speak to me in Spanish tongue

make sense of the world

in my childhood sound

smooth through every word

a compliment to hear your voice

make love in a language

by gentle tones and calm waves

speak to me in a stream

of melody and beauty

offering comfort with simple claims

moving through this as we step

into boarders that frighten away

unsure hearts in proclaiming this could be

more than love

more than eternity

more than what our minds can understand
