heard your voice

heard your voice

A Poem by Tenten

I heard your voice the other day

While sitting with my friends

I turned around to see you not

There, no where, where I am

I created words for you hoping you will call

I tried endless lines of our truth knowing noting at all

Now I see your image come from the back of

My heart my mind; the smell of lingering cigarettes is all I have left
