presumtious manner

presumtious manner

A Poem by Tenten

In the presumptions manner of men

The quaking figure before you is harmed

The shivers racking through bone and muscle

Tell a biased tale of pain and natural weakness

In that same biased manner of judgment

Eyes become clouded with thoughts

Telling lies of becoming a protector

To this damaged presumed innocence

Unyielding eyes never witness the fury

Birthing shivers and quakes

Which consume the soul of a no longer child
