chasing breeze

chasing breeze

A Poem by Tenten

Oh I know you

You’re that wind from then

The playful gust that lead to trouble

Encouraging negligence and mischief

Oh I know you

The deceiving blow from past

Daring, warning, tempting bad

Atrocities to play in our game of night

Yes, I know you

Coming strong to create disaster

Playground tree branches

And unhappy disproving stares

That lead to trials of tears and misdeeds

Yes, I know you

That floating stream that

Spending time to encourage fall, tumble, bruise and wander away

To build the courage needed today

I know you

That cooler quicker breeze of life

Who brushed by for good and bad times

And brought the warning of needed preparation

Since I know you

And you know I

Let this meeting be a

Greet and bye without the bad news companion
