we gotta talk

we gotta talk

A Poem by Tenten

We need to talk
I need to tell you the truth
About the past;
the pain,
the never eyes
We need to talk
I gotta say my view
On the endless nights
hurt thighs
broken window panes
We need to talk
I have to speak
You gotta hear
all that you denied
those hateful lies
We need to talk
You need to listen
You need to understand
I’ll open this voice up
I’ll sing out the soul
But we need to talk
With no lies and fake smiles
Get rid of those times
This hurting heart
When we speak
Hear out this pain
An’ I’ll do the same

this has a nice message but it tends to be a bit too cliche don't you think. maybe try to expand on this subject matter more and expose your feelings more so the average person can relate to what it is you're going through. we all realize communication is important...but there is a price to everything.
