consuming rainbow

consuming rainbow

A Poem by Tenten

The rainbow it consumes our culture
Lucky charms
Children t-shirts
Baby gear
But the only way your ever gonna notice it
Is in that flag shape waving
On book store doors
Parade poles flying high
But you ain’t gonna care
Till you see it
On book store doors
Parade poles flying high
The rainbow it consumes our culture
It ain’t gonna kill you
Won’t offend those precious sensibilities
Till I’m wearing it
On this c-cup chest
Proclaiming your hands cant touch
Then you’ll drag your god in on a non-existent fight
You’re feelings
The disgust at my difference
The rainbow it consumes our culture
And their ain’t a problem
Till it’s waving on a flag
