Pride

Pride

A Poem by Tenten
"

a piece i wrote for a dear friend, for you pride-chan.

"

You taught me so much
Did you know you played
Sensei, senapi, onii-chan
Offered protection in simple conversation

The first I told shameful secrets
The first to say I wasn’t alone
The one who said in soul lines
“Different isn‘t wrong”

I fell in love with you
Slept easier by your side
Found a new flow in your taste…of life
Started a journey for true self under your eyes

The first I told shameful secrets
The first to say I wasn’t alone
The one who said in soul lines
“Different isn‘t wrong”

You showed me
Late night four season walks
‘light from mine’
Open flows do exist

The first I told shameful secrets
The first to say I wasn’t alone
The one who said in soul lines
“Different isn‘t wrong”

Memories of our past
Unstained by our separate futures
Where the days are counted till we collide
Into the favored movement of us

The first I told shameful secrets
The first to say I wasn’t alone
The one who said in soul lines
“Different isn‘t wrong”

The face I could fall in love with
The smooth flow of why we did not
Knowing on a two side track this is eternity
Occasionally on those rail road tracks
I was not alone
