These are my tears

This is my broken heart

No I don’t hate you

Yes I will forgive you

I told  you I love you

So I always swill

 

 

This is pain

 

 

These are my words

A cohesive dialogue

The only key

To releasing a childish dream

Never meant to be

 

 

I forgive I will move ahead

 

 

These words to become

A haunted reminder

Of once upon a time

With my undesired ending

Completing the story

 

 

I shall forgive I already have

 

 

There needs to be forgiveness

There shall exist my laughter now

Half closed eyes to view the world

The bandaged heart

Unshed tears and non-existent wet pillows

 

 

This is me giving up

 

 

This is me giving in

This is me letting go

Of the unshed tears

Of the damaged heart

And going somewhere
