can you believe in me

can you believe in me

A Poem by Tenten

Can you believe in me one more time

Place your trust in my hands

Put faith in who stands before you

In return I’ll hand you the world to reap

I’ll show all of me to you

I will always be by your side

Can you stay with me for a while

Curl into my side beneath pristine sheets

Whisper half truths in my ear to sate me

I’ll promise my eternity by your side

Lie next to your body, surrender my heat

Tell you the truth you need to hear, never mention lies

Promise me corruption I’ll give you angelic wings

Stain me in filthy I’ll clean you with my taken innocence

We’ll be together say that’s enough

I’ll become your sacrifice, your singer
