charms

 

I’m placing out my charms for you

Diagramming the fact I am loyal

Parading myself rather foolishly

                in my own way

Hoping you’ll take notice

Behold my flourish of words

                and capacity for honesty

I want you to be an ‘eternity’

For me to be a constant

I’ve bee known to be wrong before

Telling truth to those who

                won’t stay or cause soul pain

Praying this is not the same mistake

                Another dire error

I would like if we built

A stronger bridge

                grow closer over time

    and words

Because I seem to forget my part

                eternity is half way built

                hopefully I won’t break this

     Path again.
