mirror in your words

mirror in your words

A Poem by Tenten

I find myself in your words

And feel the disgust of similarity

The male representation of self

That never should exist

To pinpoint truth in a liar

This beast of burden

I find a mirror image

In created pasts

That lacks beauty of now

The pleasantry of new life

Love, Eternities

Only your words are capable

Of creating disgust feeling

Creeping over neon light flesh

Telling truth in prose

Snap shot, Blood Pump, Priceless

Scraping into tainted skin

Dragging out the buried deranged

In current time when our moment

Fades to seasons and street lights

Leaving bereft plotted hope

And populated lake shore doubt

For beauty soul to pick up and release
