she walks

she walks

A Poem by Tenten

She walks like she’s marching

to the beat of her own melody

the rhythm of her own drum

the tune of her own song

stopping her feet

twirling her skirts

raising her hands

She’s hearin’ that flow

She’s seein’ that stream

She’s catchin’ that winged tune

       Swinging her hips

       Moving her body

       Bending her knees

She moves to her song

Lives with her view of beauty

Exists to her A, B, D, C, F, G, & E
