My Grandma is God

My Grandma is God

A Poem by Tenten

Lend me your ears for a moment

Give my words a good listen

And respect them for the truth

That comes from my perspective

I’ve come to deiced

Grandmothers are God

The head one in charge

That’s the honest truth

Because they some how know

That moment you hit a tight spot

The second your soul needs a lift

The day the don’t seem to end

And right away

There’s a phone call for you

You just managed to make

Before the ringer gave out

And some how

There’s a card in the mail

When the seasons come and gone

With a handful of words to brighten a smile

So give me a listen

Take my words for truth

Because I’ve come to find

Those Grandmothers are Goddesses
