a reason

a reason

A Poem by Tenten
"

a piece inspired by my Abuelita

"

There is something there is some a reason to be outside

No alone, not companionless, another to keep by my side

Not the original words I mean tot write but gin in the direction

A purpose to burn in the suns baneful rays

The life showing in tired smiles caressed by wrinkles

Gliding away from hated thoughts into mixed language conversion

Communicated ‘I love you’ but nodding, no longer a puppet only happy for the change to willingly sever, aid, help with all my heart

Losing all pretense, glad to be me with you, no mask

Moving forward in a wonderfully slow pace

This is my happiness, my proud memory I want to remember

The things I want strong light to remember me by
