imagining

imagining

A Poem by Tenten

I’m imagining your mouth

The way your lips move as you smile

I’m imagining your voice

That stir of emotion in your laughter

I’m imaging your touch

The movement of your hands as you wipe away these tears

I’m imagining your stare

The cold look of your eyes at the knowledge, you know I cried

I’m imagining your light

The warmth of your caring and love

I’m imagining better words, greater truth…

I am remembering you

To cool this hurting pain inside my barely beating heart
