window fram

window fram

A Poem by Tenten

Not the kid anymore who belongs in the window frame

                That once half world refuge

                No longer fits

                Same body. Same form.

No longer fits inside its tangled confines

Passing traffic, blowing wind

                Are no longer envy’s partner

That window frame is no longer the key door

                To a long time dream

                No longer a refuge

To this chaotic life refugee
