subtle beauty

subtle beauty

A Poem by Tenten

It’s the subtle beauty that you don’t remember

That is heart ripping

Sometimes I can forget your voice

That is mind splitting

But always I can remember your eyes

That’s is renewing

You believed guarded

The peaking passion

You believed never existed

The mixture sorrowed love

You believed hidden

        Its heart ripping

Forget you voice

        Its mind splitting

Remember those eyes

        They’re life giving

Unguarded in truthful moments

Passion peep show in half lidded orbs

Existing without conscious permission

        Pained longing swirls captivating

Concealing veil, failing mask

It’s the subtle beauty you don’t remember

That pulls me back

        Subtle beauty that pulls back

Forget your smile

The subtle beauty of your eyes

Sometimes I can forget your smile
