Forever Night

Forever Night

A Poem by Tenten

Forever night

These dreams do not cease

Praying to the demons to let me be

Encroaching time

A cruel encouragement

To disband the hope and sealing faith

For the sake of memories

Soon to be forgotten

And the tears yet to have fallen

Taking slowly in my hands

The memory of yesterday held dearly

Knotting the light of that once

Deep inside this manikin corpse

To illuminate what may be misunderstood

For proper representation

A bargaining chip

So the ever night demons

Won’t eat me alive

On my first night

I think this poem has potential, I like the beginning but the end doesn't really flow well etc. why don't you try a re-write and see what you come up with? Keep writing! :)
