Memories

A Poem by sin-dee92
"

Wonderful memories life brings to a teenager.

"

“Everything happens for a reason”.
Memories, challenges, love…
Running ‘round the road,
My feet hot and red from the burning floor.
As I run with my cousin
I feel blisters forming on my feet.
Laughing all day in Golfland,
My family by side.
Going down “The Wedgie”
I feel my heart beating faster and faster,
My palms getting sweaty.
“One, two, three”.
The lifeguard finishes counting.
I feel my head ripping off my body.
The only thing I hear are my screams,
My cousin’s laughter far away.
Memories.
Something Kodak won’t capture.
My next stop:
Senior year!
