You're in my dreams

You're in my dreams

A Poem by Craig
"

My heart once cast in iron longed so for love everlasting.

"

As I envision you in my dreams
I find myself intoxicated by your beauty.
Gazing into your eyes, I am entranced.
My mind becomes bewildered, my heart begins to dance.

Your face as soft as silk, with my hands I long to touch
and the smile that makes me feel for you.
I want to hold you so very much.

I need to taste the sweetness of your lips
every moment of my being.
When I imagine your hands upon my chest
my heart starts rapidly beating.

My heart once cast in iron longed so for love everlasting.
In the long and troublesome search for love and companionship
I often found myself gasping.

Though the day you came into my life and the night I felt your touch
my heart did turn to flesh and blood. I love you so very much.

I enjoy poetry like this that is outfront and simple to understand. The message of longing is a familiar one to me. Verrry nice, Craig.
