"Now I take her into me
share my book with her
until we know
can read each glance
each whisper
each touch…"
Poetical Prowess!!! This was fantastic! From the subtle flow to the image at the beginning to set the mood of the piece....you crafted an intelligently phrased piece. The type so delicately thought of that i cannot help but be enthralled in the book (pun intended) :)
this is amazing, the whole Idea, the way you've written it, such beauty graces these words, love and learning, reading into the soul, not just physical beauty or touch, a very great write, I do truly love it!

Thank you so very much, Bowers! I appreciate so much your insights.. and your time here. :)
I like how right from the get go there is in an intricate playing of love, passion, and intelligence. "Her heart in letters" reminds me of the expression "a heart in tatters" but subverts it so that although it is in pieces, it remains preserved and attainable through language. I also enjoy the inherent connection to The Young Benjamin Franklin's famous epitaph;
" The body of
B. Franklin, Printer
(Like the Cover of an Old Book
Its Contents torn Out
And Stript of its Lettering and Gilding)
Lies Here, Food for Worms.
But the Work shall not be Lost;
For it will (as he Believ'd) Appear once More
In a New and More Elegant Edition
Revised and Corrected
By the Author.

what a prophet you are confessing such a love and beauty of another... how you compare her to a special and meaningful part in your life and others. To cherish...to study .....to interpret all parts of whole making things shine in a world's yearning for love and understanding. This is bright and magnificent!
I loved the way you said '' She is a book and I love to read her pages ... '' and the first part of the peotry is very soothing and calling. Such a strong emotion there, like her book is filled with so much secrets and promises of mysteries to be found out.
I'm blown away by the use of the image of a book as a metaphor for your relationship as well as your love for her. Incredibly creative.

While reading it my heartbeat slowed down...it is sensual on such an amazing non sexual yet erotic and romantic way that this is one of my favourite writes. I absolutely love the passion you wrote this with.
